Herbs for profit!

ezraye:

So with the 5.0 patch next Tuesday, there will be a ton of new glyphs. I have a maxed level herb-gatherer. Any suggestions on what I could pre-farm for sales during the flurry of glyphs? Beta-people, which mats are most needed?

So I responded in a reply but wanted to give a few links that I’ve found for the farmers out there that are looking to make some gold.

I haven’t been able to find a pretty chart that gives the easy answer.  But from what I can tell, ink of the sea is the easy answer.  It’s going to be the ink for a lot of the new monk glyphs. Since those won’t be available for another month, my recommendation would be to look at these guides, pick a selection of herbs (diversification is important incase one type doesn’t sell well) and profit!

Azeroth I love you but you’re bringing me down

I try not to whine about World of Warcraft but I kinda hate Brewfest.

Coren Direbrew can go die in a fire. As well as the elemental shaman, ret paladin and two shadow priests that rolled and won the healing trinket. I’ve lost 4 times!

My poor druid is still in that awkward place between regular and heroic geared and I don’t have enough…umph to keep up with the faceroll speed that everyone wants in heroics.

I won’t mention the mounts.

I’m looking foward to Hallow’s End. At least I’ll be able to eat too much candy, spin in a circle and barf on people in front of the auction house.

3 notes World of Warcraft YOU TAKE EVERYTHING FROM ME BLIZZARD

Threat

I was just in a heroic with a druid tank that had a gear ilvl of 329. He was wearing mostly quest greens and blues. “First time in an heroic, please be patient,” he announces.

My mage is ilvl 356, gemmed, enchanted, reforged, chemically enhanced and I know how to play her. I sighed and got ready for a long dungeon of throttling my dps.

The first few pulls went well, so well that I decided to see what the limit was before I ripped all the aggro and became a mage puddle on the floor.

I couldn’t pull aggro off the tank. As long as he touched a mob first, there seemed to be no threat loss. I watched Omen for the rest of the dungeon and while it might be broken from the changes, I didn’t get over 45% the entire time.

So I guess if you were looking to tank, now would be the time to learn. Overgeared dps won’t rip mobs off of you in heroics.
